Marc Roberts Signs On as President

"AFT strength resides in its people and their desire to be
best in their markets. My job is to simply lead them to the achievement
of their desires," said Marc A. Roberts, PCC Advanced Forming Technology's
new president.
Marc is focused on the future of AFT, its people and the fiscal health
of the company. He believes AFT's strongest asset is the staff. Marc
has a long and varied background in the engineering field, with extensive
management experience.
Marc took over as president of the AFT division in September of 2004.
Prior to his current position, Marc served as Director of Aerostructures
and Advanced Engineering for the Large Part Campus Structurals Division
with Precision Castpart Corporation for three years. Marc has also
held the position as Vice President and General Manager for Johnson Controls
European Overhead Systems Division.
"My family and I lived in Düsseldorf, Germany for 4 years," Marc
stated. Including the overseas experience, the Roberts' have lived
in 8 states and 2 countries over the past 20 years. "I guess you
could call us the 'pseudo army family'. However we are
extremely happy to have landed in Longmont, Colorado," said Marc.
Colorado's environment and wealth of outdoor activities suits the
family. Biking, hiking, and leisure walks in the evening comprise
some of their favorite hobbies. Marc and his wife, Ranette, have
two children that are both active in school activities. Marc is
an involved father who jokingly described himself as "one of those
psycho coach dads who live vicariously through my kids' sports, much
to the dismay of my wife."
In addition to an educational background in Aerospace and nuclear engineering,
Marc has an MBA in International Business and has participated in numerous
leadership training and development programs. He has been responsible
for a wide variety of activities including engineering as well as research
and development. Marc draws on his extensive background and experience
in his new role with AFT.
As part of his leadership approach, Marc plans to focus on the financial
management systems that will help increase the company's market share
and on what he described as inorganic growth that will support stockholder
expectations. Marc is happy to be onboard and looking forward to the
challenges and opportunities that lay in store. |
