European Automotive Components Expo
Stuttgart, Germany hosted the European Automotive Components Expo'05. The show included Automotive Testing Expo'05 Europe, Engine Expo 2005, Vehicle Dynamics Expo 2005, and Crash Test Expo 2005. Stuttgart is in the in the heartland of the European automotive industry, just minutes away from DaimlerChrysler and Porsche.
Advanced Forming Technology (AFT) attended the expo and had exhibits, sales support and a booth, 7049, in Hall 7. The international expo was attended by Paul Zamprelli, Global Director of Sales and Marketing; Chris Rista, Sr. Product Group Sales Manager - Global Automotive Sales; and Sandor Rako - European Sales Manager. Chris and Paul are based out of the AFT corporate office in Firestone, Colorado. Sandor is based out of the AFT Europe facility located in Retsag, Hungary.
The show was skillfully advertised and marketed internationally via magazine advertising,direct mail and telephone support. The overall expo attendance was strong and the turnout at AFT's booth was outstanding.
Metal Injection Molding continues to be an attractive metal forming technology for most automotive component designers and procurement professionals. European Automotive companies and tier-1 suppliers engaged in conversations and agreements with AFT for immediate component needs. As a result, the expo generated several sales and production opportunities for AFT. Employees at AFT look forward to working with their new customers!
