The South East Asian (SEA) Games, November 27 through December 5, 2005 in Manila, Philippines, are using Colorado Time Systems (CTS) equipment. Trace College Los Banos is hosting the aquatic events at their new facility. The facility includes a 50m competition pool, a separate diving pool and a warm up pool.

CTS worked closely with the architect in designing and building this project, as well as collaborating with Natare Corporation to provide bulkheads, filtration system and gutter, and pool liner.

CTS President and CEO, Anita Sayed stated "Colorado Time Systems is pleased with our expanded role in this facility. We are certain that, working together, we will be very successful in producing a venue worthy of the SEA Games."

CTS equipment includes:

  • System 6 with Water Polo, Swimming and Diving software
  • Television interface to display running time, leader's splits, and world record comparison
  • Wireless Championship Start System
  • Underwater speakers
  • KDI Paragon starting blocks
  • Relay Judging Platforms with Speedlights
  • RJPL caddy
  • FINA Touchpads

The South East Asian Games were known as the South East Asian Peninsular Games until 1975 when the SEAP Games Federation accepted Indonesia and the Philippines as members. The name was then changed to South East Asian Games. The first SEAP Games were in 1959 in Bangkok, Thailand.

A total of more than 5300 athletes from the following countries will be participating in the coming 23rd Southeast Asian Games: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam.
