Keep Your Timing System up to Speed
One of the key features of the System 6 Sports Timer is its ability to update its own software via the Internet. The software is constantly being evaluated and tested, and the results lead to performance enhancements. Also, new features are often requested by customers and governing bodies. Accessing these features is just a matter of updating to the latest version.
Updating is as simple as connecting the System 6 to a network with Internet access. If your facility has Internet access, your system administrator can help you get the timer connected. If you have high-speed access at home, through DSL or a cable modem, you can connect your timer through your router. If you do not have the ability to connect your timer to the Internet, updates can be done via floppy disk.
Check the website once a month for new updates. Under the Customer Support section of our website, you can select Downloadable Software Updates and get a list of the current revisions. Be sure to read the Release Notes before downloading an update.
