CTS Supports Triumphant Athletes at the 23rd SEA Games

The 23rd South East Asian (SEA) Games were held in Manila, Philippines, November 27-December 5, 2005. Using CTS equipment, Trace College Los Banos hosted the aquatic events at their new facility.

More than 5300 athletes participated in the games, representing Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam.

On hand to provide support for the aquatic competitions were CTS experts Bob Clauson, Craig Jacobs and Jon Platt.

The president of the Philippine Amateur Swimming Association, Inc. gave CTS an outstanding recommendation, saying "Colorado did great in the 23rd Southeast Asian Games!" He added, "Your people that installed and operated the system are special too. They are friendly, efficient, non-nonsense experts, and great teachers to boot . . . My hope is to see more Colorado systems installed throughout Asia as part of our plan to modernize aquatic sports in our continent." (See the complete letter.)

CTS worked closely with the architect in designing and building this project, as well as collaborating with Natare Corporation to provide bulkheads, filtration system, and gutter and pool liner.
