Colorado Time - Interview |

A Tribute To Scott KennyColorado Time Systems and the entire swimming community lost a valuable colleague, friend and family member. Scott Kenny, CTS Field Service Technician, died unexpectedly on March 7, 2007. All who knew him will miss Scott's gentle heart, humor and generosity. Scott was a geologist by education, but one of his truest passions was swimming. As swimmer and coach throughout the years, Scott earned accolades from all who knew him. Scott continued to play an active role in the aquatic community as a Field Service Technician, and was constantly on the road and at customer sites installing or maintaining Colorado equipment. His upbeat attitude touched each and every person around him. Kevin Polansky, Scott's former High School Swimming Coach says "Scooter, your contagious zest for life and spirit to be the best with the abilities you were given will never be lost in all of us. I will never forget you Scooter! You have touched us all and we are grateful to be a part of your life. You will be remembered by the good times that you had with all of us. You will be missed by all of us…BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!" As a professional, it was important to Scott to teach each person that he came in contact with something about Colorado Time Systems' products. When the idea came up for us to create a "Maintenance Video" to show our clients how to maintain their own equipment, Scott jumped at the chance to take the lead and "star" in the video. He was very proud of this piece, and we are releasing it in his honor. Please see the "Ask an Expert" section of this newsletter to request a copy. "Having Scott as a member of our team was a pleasure. His excitement when he spoke about swimming was contagious. Scott had a strong work ethic coupled with a wonderful smile. We miss him, although he is in a much better place," said Vida Stanton (CTS Customer Service Manager). "Scott was our cheerleader, always enthusiastic, motivated and encouraging," said Anita Sayed Allin, CTS President and CEO. "He will always be missed and impossible to replace." |
