Marc Dube: President and Founder of Proven Systems Corp

Proven Systems Corp, President and Founder, Marc Dube, has held a variety of jobs. From milking cows to developing a farm and ranch real estate magazine Mr. Dube works tirelessly to deliver excellent results for his clients.

1. What previous jobs have you held that qualify you for your current position at Proven Systems?

I believe the best marketers view the world as a kaleidoscope.

I have owned a landscaping company, shoveled dog pens, fixed tractors and lawnmowers, worked on a dairy farm milking cows, picking rocks and baling hay, and worked gutting fish at a fish market. That was before I was 18 years old.

When I was old enough to have a career I was a waiter, worked in construction, developed a farm and ranch real estate magazine, sold real estate, invested in real estate, was a salesman for an Audio Book on Tape Company, marketed real estate franchises, and worked as a marketing consultant for over 200 companies.

2. Why is newsletter business better than other businesses you've had experience with?

I believe the most foundational principal in marketing is that companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars for marketing consultants to tell them to communicate more frequently and more meaningfully with their own customers; too much money is spent on generating leads but not communicating the message with prospects and building those relationships.

Company staff is so busy doing their jobs that we decided it was important to take as much of the email newsletter production process work off of my clients' staff. We provide a great place for companies to outsource their email newsletter.

3. If you could give the most important reason communication is important what would you say?

What does it cost companies to not know their 50 dollar or 500 thousand dollar prospect clicked thru to the company website or read articles on the new product or service?

If you add up all the different ways companies spend money on trade shows, salespeople and the like for branding, and lead positioning, the costs are astronomical.

Many business and profit objectives can be obtained with one foundational marketing principal – effective communication. Email newsletters are that foundational marketing principal.

4. What can potential clients of Proven Systems expect from you and the company?

Our attention to hiring the best people in the business separates us from other companies. We don't just hire individuals; we hire key, intelligent, professional employees who are enthusiastic about our client's success.

As a company, we are truly dedicated to helping our clients deliver an educational, professional, and interesting email newsletter that prospects and customers will want to read.

When companies produce newsletters in house they can sometimes be self-oriented and appear to be an advertisement. Your marketing is only as good as your customers' desire to want to receive it, especially in the e-arena.

5. What is the greatest benefit Proven Systems offers to clients?

We work as an extension of our clients company; they do not have to go to five different people to get a newsletter done.

We have one client contact that coordinates the writers, designers, programmers, and editors on the client's behalf. Our clients drive the newsletter focus and we do all of the work needed to implement our clients vision into a high-caliber email newsletter.

Our tracking software provides valuable data for our clients and is the best in the industry. With changes in our industry and programming improvements, we continuously update and improve our software so we can provide our clients with the best software.

Proven Systems produces over 400 articles per month for our clients and I anticipate we will increase that number to 800 by the end of 2005. Email newsletters sure beat some of my prior jobs, especially the one where the dogs, fish and cows were involved.
