Rapid Prototyping Comes To Life!

US Spine continues to implement innovative technologies as a tool to respond to rapid and efficient design of its own products and those proposed by its surgeon partners.

As a continued commitment to evolving new product to aid the patient and surgeon, US Spine recently acquired a Spectrum Z510 System Rapid Prototyping System from Z Corp.

Spectrum Z510

Prototypes in Hours

The Spectrum Z510 full-color, three-dimensional print system produces high-definition, physical prototypes in hours instead of the typical three to six weeks for a traditional prototype. Physical, color models significantly communicate more information than any other type of rapid prototyping system, providing US Spine and its partners with both a strategic advantage in product development and a cost-contained solution to bringing new ideas from concept to market.

Superior inkjet printing technology creates parts with crisply defined features, enhanced accuracy, and precise color. This unique, 24-bit color, 3D printing capability produces color models that accurately reflect original design data, and, if needed can also be used to create cast metal parts.

With product response time now capable of being measured in hours, US Spine continues to lead the way in the development of leading edge products.
