Engineering Spotlight

US Spine's engineering department has grown tremendously over the past 6 months, with the addition of David Crook (Director), Heide Hoke (Engineer), and Phil Reed (Design Engineer). This brings the number of engineers in-house to four, including Isaias Mena, who joined the company in the middle of 2005. The additional personnel have helped to increase output from the department, with the first completed projects from the group expected to be released in the next 90 days.

US Spine will be releasing the Preference 2 Spine System, Universal Crosslink, and Precision Bone Instrumentation in the coming months, and the increased capacity has allowed US Spine to internalize the Facet Gun project, giving us greater control and flexibility with the design, and significant gains in efficiency. We are diligently working to pull new projects through the development pipeline, and with our expanded engineering department, we are poised to grow the product line significantly in 2006.
